A Full-Day Outdoor Adventure in the Saguenay Fjord National Park and the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park

This guided full-day sea kayaking excursion is rated intermediate (ages 17 and up). Throughout the day, you'll cross the fjord twice and paddle in a small group of no more than 8 guests. Your guide will provide a basic kayaking skills session and offer interpretation on the unique Saguenay Fjord ecosystem.

The Saguenay Fjord, with its towering cliffs and two rich, diverse ecosystems, is ranked among the most remarkable fjords in the world.

During this unforgettable day, get ready to fall in love with the fjord and its legends, unwind in a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by raw nature, and meet the local seals.

Details & Conditions:

  • Maximum group size: 8 guests (If your group is larger, a second guide will be added.)

  • Minimum age: 17 years old

  • Kayaking distance: 18 to 25 km (depending on group pace and weather conditions)

  • Water temperature in July and August: 15–20°C

  • To paddle a solo kayak, prior sea kayaking experience is required. If you're new to the activity or not fully comfortable, we recommend choosing a tandem kayak — ideal for enjoying the adventure safely and confidently.

Please note: Fjord en Kayak reserves the right to modify your reservation details due to weather conditions, participant fitness level, or any other reason deemed appropriate by the company. If you have selected a solo kayak, we may place you in a tandem for your safety.
