Rental equipment for 2 days river trip with transportation. 2 Days / 1 night. You must leave in total autonomy to make this excursion on the river. Please adapt your personal equipment depending of the forecast. 

Note that a minimum price for transportation must be reached to make a departure. This price varies according to the rivers and requires between 2 and 3 people to reach it. The company reserves the right to add additional charges. We'll let you know what is the amount before departure.

The rental equipment include: 

  • A canoe or kayak or paddle board
  • Life jacket 
  • Paddles
  • Dry bag or barrell depending of your boat 
  • Transportation to the river’s access point
  • Briefing speech with all the rules and safety tips

River options : Restigouche, Patapédia, Upsalquitch

Restigouche river: Departure is from "the Marshall" located near the fishing lodge "Pine Island" upstream on the Restigouche River. Consider canoeing 20-25 km each day (about 4-5-6 hrs on the water). Constant current/flow. A few R1 class rapids will be encountered at the beginning of the trip. The color of the water and the scenery are breathtaking. Possibility of seeing many Atlantic salmon and bald eagles. Note that all the rapids/obstacles of this river are avoidable considering its width. At some point of your trip, you will have to pass the Chamberlains rapids, class R2 depending on the water level. Then, a few R1 class rapids will be on your way. Calm and serene, you will return from this trip fulfilled. You are fishing your trip in Matapedia.  Distance : 47 km 

 Patapédia/Restigouche river: The departure of this package is from the 2 miles or 7 miles depending on the water level of the river and leads to the Restigouche River. The Patapedia River, whose lower part marks the border between Quebec and New Brunswick, gives you the impression of being alone in the world in a small narrow valley. The cold, clear water of the river meanders between cliffs and mountains. Depending on your itinerary, you will have the option of sleeping on the banks of the Restigouche or in a campground. This section of the Patapedia River requires a good knowledge of river reading in order to find the passage between the rocks (when the water level is low). You will have the opportunity to appreciate two different types of landscapes since the landscape opens up on the Restigouche valley. To know the details about the Restigouche River, please see the section above.  Distance : between 65-75 km depending of the launching point.  


Upsalquitch river: You will discover the beautiful Upsalquitch with its crystal clear waters and you will finish with 11 km on the Restigouche to reach our exit point in Matapedia. This river is ideally suited for canoeing in June and July; when the water level drops, we can no longer offer it. It flows entirely in New Brunswick and empties into the Restigouche, 11 km upstream from Rafting Ground. Distance : between 58- 60 km depending on the launching point
