The "DISCOVERY" hiking package

Adult: $595.00 per ticket
Student (13 to 17 years old): $505.00 per ticket

This hike is done with an expedition backpack during 3 days/2 nights. The guide accompanies you from start to finish and cooks the meals for you. The guide will teach you about long distance hiking, equipment, nutrition, planning, walking techniques and risk management. It’s a great way to learn about long distance hiking and to be better equipped to do it again with friends later on.

Each of our packages requires a minimum of 4 people before departure, but it is possible to join a group when you are less than 4 or alone.

Day 1: 7 km to walk with many changes in altitude in the forest to get to the Corbeau refuge

Day 2: 13 km to walk to the village of Saint-André and sleep at the sports chalet 

Day 3: 14 km to reach the village of Matapedia, you will discover the spectacular view of the region from the observation tower and the Matapedia lookout.

Included:

  • Transportation from Matapedia to the access points of the International Appalachian Trail
  • A qualified guide
  • 7 meals and snacks
  • Ground mattress and tents upon request

Are not included:

  • Backpack (we have a few in stock);
  • Hiking boots or good walking shoes;
  • Bottle of water;
  • The tip for your guide is at your discretion**
