The “DRIFTER” package

Each of our guided packages requires a minimum of 4 people before departure, but it is possible to join a group when you are less than 4 or alone.

A snack break is provided halfway along the route, which gives you the opportunity to talk with your guide about the fauna and flora of the region. You may be lucky enough to spot river salmon, eagles, beavers and even otters.

14 km or 17 km on the Restigouche River, calm water in a safe environment (depends on our river acces);

Are included:

• Transportation from Matapedia village to the river’s access point
• An accompanying guide
• A canoe or recreational kayak, a life jacket and paddles
• Safety equipment
• A barrel or waterproof bag per person
• Healthy lunch

Are not included:

• Bottle of water
• Swimsuit and towel
• Tip for the guide at your convenience**

** The tip is a financial compensation that varies between 10$ and 30$ per day per person depending on your level of appreciation of your guide's services. We base our tips on the standards of the tourist industry. This information is for information purposes only. Thank you.
