Dog Sledding – Half-Day Boreal Adventure

MINIMUM AGE: 12 years

MINIMUM AGE FOR DRIVING: 12 years old *The guide reserves the right to put the child in a duet if he deems it necessary for the child's safety.

DURATION OF ACTIVITY: approximately 2 h 45, i.e. 2 hour's ride. *A driving and safety course will be given in French or English. It is imperative for each participant to understand one of the 2 languages in order to take part in the activity.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: Moderate *The route includes several uphill sections, so you'll need to be able to walk uphill behind the sled.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR YOUR ACTIVITY:

•     People with heart problems, severe asthma, pregnant women, people who have had recent surgery (less than 6 months), people with injuries cannot take part in this activity.
•     If you are concerned that your physical condition or health problems would prevent you from being able to drive your own carriage, please contact us to let us know. We will assess the possibilities available to you.

WEIGHT LIMIT: 220 lbs.

CLOTHING: In order to make your activity as enjoyable as possible, it is very important to bring all the necessary Nordic clothing that is appropriate for the weather conditions during your activity (snow boots, hat, mittens, neck warmer, jacket and snow trousers). We can lend you this clothing at a cost of $20/person + tax (size for 12+). If necessary, please advise our staff before your arrival.
