Take advantage of personalized river surf coaching with our experienced instructors to speed up your progression. Progress in a supervised manner while becoming independent in your practice by learning techniques adapted to river surfing. Instructors will be able to film some of your waves to give constructive and effective feedback. In addition, notions of Surf Fitness will be discussed in order to prepare your muscles for river surfing as well as ocean surfing. Classes will take place at The Bunny Wave. Camps take place every week at the same time for 4 weeks.

During this SUP camp for adults, you will have the opportunity to become a Paddle Canada member by accumulating practicing certificates: Advanced SUP practicing in calm water and SUP River 1 certification. In addition, you will practice more advanced SUP Race techniques and SUP surf. Following this camp, you will be better equipped for your SUP trips and if you wish to register for our instructor training, you will have already met the prerequisites.

The Eskimo roll is a technique that has been developed by our ancestors of the North, the Inuit, formerly known as Eskimos. You will learn this maneuver throughout this lesson, which consists of returning your capsized kayak to an upright position. The instructor will assist you during your first attempts. This course is necessary for someone who wishes to venture rivers. Can be taken with Initiation 1, which we strongly advise to take on the same day in order to fully grasp the basic techniques and to put them into practice.Prerequisites: Be confident in water. KAYAK - Session 3 - White Water introduction

This course has been developed for those who want to learn how to descend a river in a safely and independently way. You will learn the following techniques: the ferry, eddy turns to enter and exit currents, rapids reading, and river navigation. You will learn the river basics while discovering the most moderated sections of the famous Lachine Rapids.Prerequisites: Session 1 and 2 completed or equivalent experience. Be confident with performing Eskimo rolls in flat water. Participant must be 12 years old minimum; children under the age of 16 require parental authorization.
